Overcome the Post-Holiday Blues

By: Dan Reidmiller

It’s January 8 and the holidays are in the rearview. At least in December, we had tons of fun times to look forward to. But now, it’s just cold.

No more delicious food, joyful songs or out of control parties...

...juuust cold.

So, at College Hunks, we were thinking to ourselves. We said, “Selves, how can we beat the bitter blues of another bleak beginning of the year?”

The answer? Well, it’s not by speaking in alliteration. No. According to care2.com, there are 10 Ways to Beat the Post-Holiday Blues.

And the number one way to beat the blues?

…*drumroll*...

...waaaiit forrr iiiit...

Rescue an animal!

You probably thought we were going to say de-cluttering, didn’t you? Well, de-cluttering is the number two way to overcome post-holiday sadness, which is fine with us because pets are adorable.

I mean seriously, who is going to make the anti-puppies argument? Not us.

But, if you don’t want to adopt a pet or volunteer at a shelter, getting rid of old junk and organizing your home will definitely help cheer you up.

So, if you’re looking to stay positive amid the dismal winter months, you can get some great tips for de-cluttering right here.

And if you don’t want to undertake the task alone, you can always call in some HUNK help at 1-800-586-5872 or schedule your stress-free post-holiday clean-up right here!

BONUS TIP

You know that freakishly ugly sweater you got as a Christmas gift? If it happens to find its way into the back of our junk truck while your spouse isn’t looking, well, your secret is safe with us!
