Tampa, FL – College HUNKS Hauling Junk and Moving®, an award-winning company and industry leader in stress-free solutions for junk removal and moving needs, will provide free or heavily discounted moves to domestic violence survivors who need to leave a dangerous situation throughout the month of October. The moves are available during Domestic Violence Awareness Month and are part of the brand’s Moves That Matter program, offering safe moves, strong voices to those in need.

College HUNKS began offering free or heavily discounted moves in support of Domestic Violence Awareness Month during the pandemic when cases of domestic violence reached all-time highs. Sadly, the problem persists today. According to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, an average of 24 people per minute are victims of domestic violence in the United States over the course of a year.

The College HUNKS team then partners with domestic violence support organizations throughout the country to move survivors and will treat each request with the utmost confidentiality and sensitivity.
