College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving Co-Founders Nick Friedman and Omar Soliman have been named Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2018 Florida winners by Ernst & Young, one of the largest professional services firms in the world. The pair won the award in the Consumer Services category.

Culture of leadership makes us one strong team
At College Hunks, our entire franchise network is built around a culture of leadership. Our franchisees are leaders of strong businesses who are also building the next generation of leaders. In fact, several of our current franchisees started on the trucks and became entrepreneurs through the support and guidance of the managers and franchise owners they worked for.
“I really like how involved they are in helping people grow and building leaders, which is one of our core values,” says Plant City, FL, franchise owner Trent Lott. “We build leaders from the trucks up.”
Lott started on the trucks at the South Tampa location while he was in college studying entrepreneurship; once he graduated, owning his own College Hunks was a natural fit for his talents. “My manager started to build me up, knowing that I wanted to be a franchisee. So he started teaching me everything that I could know. There aren’t too many places that will go to those lengths, and they’re willing to do that here.”
