There was plenty to celebrate as College HUNKS franchisees from around the nation gathered together at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista in Orlando, Florida for the successful franchiser’s annual reunion from January 24th – 26th, 2020. For the first time, College HUNKS took this event for their franchisees and staff to a new location where attendees enjoyed a weekend packed with professional speakers, networking events, product exhibits, and roundtable sessions. And just like with any Reunion, the weekend gave franchisees, members of the training team and leadership from Brand Central an opportunity to reconnect and get inspired for another successful year ahead.
The 2020 Reunion followed a banner year of financial growth for College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving. In 2019, the company hit the benchmark of $100 million in system-wide revenue and added 25 new franchisees and five corporate stores – more than in 2017 and 2018 combined. Recently listed within the top 3% of all franchise opportunities in the country, College HUNKS is rapidly building its national presence in the stress-free junk removal and moving space. At the Reunion, the founders and others revealed their vision and goals for 2020. The theme for Reunion 2020, Bringing Safety into Focus, put safety center stage, communicating that College HUNKS understands the importance of safety across the junk removal and moving industry. The brand is committed to increasing safety awareness in the industry and beyond by bringing attention to best practices that keep their people protected.
The event kicked off on Friday with a luncheon featuring guest panel interviews with successful franchisees followed by an afternoon keynote presentation that covered neighborhood marketing and brand central presentations. Evening festivities included a welcome party. On Saturday, attendees experienced an exhibit show hosted by College HUNKS vendor partners and Reunion sponsors, along with a team-building event held at Disney Springs. “Our Vendor Partners are an essential part of our business, integral people that undoubtedly contribute to our success,” said Omar Soliman, co-founder of College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving. “Our event sponsors also contributed greatly to the success of our Reunion 2020.” Sunday featured keynote speakers, roundtable discussions, and a cocktail reception and awards dinner.
